We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to permanently delete your Saltito account and the personal data associated with it.
Delete From the App
You can delete your account directly from the Saltito mobile app by following these steps:
- Open the Saltito app on your device.
- Sign in with the account you want to delete.
- Go to Profile → Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the request when prompted.
Request by Email
If you're unable to access the app, send a deletion request from the email address registered to your account. Include your registered phone number so we can verify your identity.

When your request is processed, the following personal information will be permanently removed from our active systems:
- Profile details (name, email, phone number)
- Saved delivery addresses
- Favorites, preferences, and cart data
- Ratings, reviews, and support chats
- Push notification tokens and marketing opt-ins
- Login credentials and session data
What May Be Retained
Some information must be retained to comply with Indian tax, accounting, and consumer protection laws, or to prevent fraud. These records are kept in a restricted, de-identified form where possible:
- Invoices and transaction records — retained for up to 8 years as required under the Income Tax Act and GST regulations.
- Anonymized order history — used only for aggregate analytics; it is no longer linked to you.
- Fraud-prevention records — retained if associated with a flagged transaction or a legal hold.
Timeline
Request received
We acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
Account disabled
Your account is disabled and you're signed out of all devices.
Permanent deletion
All eligible personal data is permanently erased from our systems within 30 days.
Before You Proceed
- Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. You cannot recover deleted data.
- Any active orders, refunds, or wallet balance must be resolved before deletion.
- Reward points, coupons, and referral credits will be forfeited.
- If you sign up again with the same email or phone, a fresh account will be created with no prior history.
